Moen has a new opening for a Human Resources Generalist to join our New Bern, North Carolina Manufacturing team. Moen's HRG provides professional Human Resources guidance and support with the objective to add value to the business; Executes and administers HR programs in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, benefits, health and safety, recruitment, hiring and training; Streamlines and standardizes HR policies and practices; Administers and coordinates specific human resource programs or plans and consults with employees, management and the general public; Helps support the HR department in effectively managing human capital; May be assigned primary responsibility for specific HR programming or specific functional activities but generally works under the direction or guidance of the Human Resources Manager.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products with Human Resources Information Systems experience preferred.
